At Immaculate Heart of Mary School our students perform at the highest level when it comes to their academic performance and spiritual growth. Year after year IHM students are accepted into the premier high schools in Maryland thanks in part to the academic foundation they have established here at IHM. Measures of Academic Performance

The Archdiocese of Baltimore’s Department of Catholic Schools is using NWEA MAP Growth testing this year as our diagnostic and placement tool for Grades 2 – 8. Learn more here.

Standardized Test Scores

Standardized test scores are not the only measure of a school’s quality. These tests are designed to assess an individual student’s performance compared to all students nationally. They do not compare a school’s quality to other schools. Many other factors should affect your decision about which school your child should attend, including: educational philosophy, curriculum quality, teacher credentials, class size, location, cost, availability of resources, discipline policy, opportunities for parental involvement and communications.
