The stakeholders at IHM strongly believe that the Performing Arts play an important role in the cognitive and emotional development of a child. Participation in band, choir and theatre contribute to a well-rounded and appreciative life-long learner who values the importance of the arts and humanities.
Performing Arts
The IHM Theater Program provides students with exciting opportunities to explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop teamwork skills both on and off the stage. Students may choose to participate as performers or as members of our theater technology crew, gaining valuable experience in areas such as stage management, set design, props, lighting, and sound.
Under the direction of Mrs. Noppinger and Ms. Datz, our talented students work together to bring high-quality productions to life each year. Past performances have included Descendants: The Musical, Finding Nemo Jr., Curtains Jr., and The Addams Family.
Whether students dream of taking center stage or prefer working behind the scenes, the IHM Theater Program offers a welcoming environment where every participant plays an important role in creating memorable performances for our school community.
