By choosing a Catholic school, a family is choosing to invest in a child’s future. A future of high school, college and career success, but more importantly the daily reminder to strive towards eternal reward in heaven. A Catholic school education is a financial investment, and our graduates and their families would attest that it is well worth it!

Due to the Maryland State Department of Education Nonpublic Student Textbook Program, the cost of student textbook and other materials has been reduced; this reduction in cost is reflected below in all students’ tuition and fees.  Please note the MSDE Nonpublic Student Textbook Program funding is used to purchase nonreligious textbooks and materials only.

Active Catholic Tuition Grant for Full Day PreK – 8th grade

Through the Special Assessment of Catholic Schools, every Parish within the Archdiocese of Baltimore supports Catholic Education based on the generosity of their parishioners. Through this generosity, our Catholic families are afforded a discounted rate on tuition, as they are most often the direct supporters of this particular assessment and contribute specifically to their parishes and the entire Archdiocese.

Tuition grants of $1,775 per student will be awarded to registered parishioners of an Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Church if the following requirements are met:

  • That the families are registered parishioners who attend Mass regularly
  • Complete a Parish Verification Form and have their parish office sign and seal prior to sending it to our school
  • The child must be baptized Catholic prior to February 1, 2025 and submit Baptismal Certificate

For the purpose of school registration, ONLY families who are active parishioners of an Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Church and fulfill the above-described standards will be granted the Active Catholic Rate. The school and/or parish reserves the right to audit and adjust any tuition selection status.

*Please note: The Tuition Grant only applies to full-time schooling. Half day PreK does not qualify.

Sibling Discount

Immaculate Heart of Mary School does offer sibling discount(s). These discount(s) will be reflected in your child’s contract.

*Please note: Students in the Half-Day PreK program are not eligible for the active Catholic Tuition grant or sibling discount.

Should a family enroll in an Archdiocese of Baltimore school, and later decide to withdraw, responsibility for tuition payment may remain with the family to compensate the school for expenses already incurred as well as the potential lost opportunity to fill that seat with another student.  The amount of tuition obligation is dependent on the date of withdrawal.  Please note that enrollment deposits, whether applied against tuition or charged as a separate registration fee and made at the time of contract signing are non refundable and non transferable regardless of the date of withdrawal.

The amount of tuition obligation is dependent on the date of withdrawal as follows:

  • 20% of annual tuition due on or after April 1, 2025
  • 25% of annual tuition due on or after June 1, 2025
  • 50% of annual tuition on or after the first day of school for the 2025-2026 school year

It is understood and appreciated the financial commitment and sacrifice families undertake in deciding to send their children to a Catholic school. And although paying for education is first and foremost the responsibility of a family, each school and the Archdiocese of Baltimore devote significant funds each year to financial aid programs that help assist families. In turn, our school communities benefit by attracting students that otherwise would not be able to attend our schools.
