Strategic Plan (2027-2032)

Immaculate Heart of Mary School presents our Strategic Plan for 2027-2032. This plan is designed to strengthen our shared mission and nurture our students’ spiritual, intellectual and emotional growth. The plan reflects input from faculty, parents, parish leadership, and community members and outlines four strategic pillars that guide us toward a thriving future where every student can flourish in faith, academics and service.

Immaculate Heart of Mary School embodies excellence in Catholic education inspiring students to excel academically, collaborate creatively, and lead with faith and integrity.

1. Catholic Identity and Spiritual Formation

We remain rooted in creating a faith-filled school culture that fosters a lifelong relationship for all students with Christ. This includes:

  • Faith Integration: Infusing Catholic social teachings and our Holy Moments program themes into all curriculum subjects
  • Sacramental Life and Catechesis: Increasing student participation in Mass, daily prayer, adoration and reconciliation as well as providing faith formation programs for faculty
  • Community Connection: Recognizing parents/guardians as the primary educators of their children and partnering with them to nurture and support their children’s faith by involving families in the faith life of the school

2. Academic Excellence and Whole-Child Innovation

We strive to challenge all students academically to reach their highest potential while supporting them spiritually, intellectually, socially and emotionally. This includes:

  • Curriculum Rigor and Data-Driven Instruction: Advancing academic coursework through enrichment and extracurricular opportunities and implementing standardized testing multiple times a year to measure and support individual student growth
  • Diverse learning support and Social-Emotional wellness: Supporting students with learning differences and integrating developmental mental health strategies for student wellness
  • Faculty Retention/Growth: Continue to attract, support and retain talented teachers while empowering them through professional development, resources and recognition

3. Collaborative Leadership and Financial Sustainability

We continue to build a strong governance structure that ensures clear accountability and supports strong long-term financial planning. This includes:

  • Parish/School Connection and Stakeholder Transparency: Continued collaboration and engagement with the IHM parish community and consistent communication to all stakeholders regarding school performance and institutional changes
  • Mission-Centered Marketing and Endowment growth: Continuing to successfully market, recruit and retain local families while building robust endowments to support long-term tuition assistance and financial stability

4. Safety, Technology and Infrastructure

We proactively work to provide a safe, modern and updated campus to ensure a competitive edge in supporting our students academic growth. This includes:

  • Digital/Physical Infrastructure:Continuous evaluation of safety procedures and data security and modernization of campus through facility and security upgrades
  • Technology Integration: Education of faculty, staff and students on emerging tech tools and investment in technology programming required to ensure academic excellence
