Mr. Anders Alicea was born and raised in New York City. He attended St. Joseph's School in Greenwich Village from kindergarten to eighth grade and graduated from Xavier High School. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Haverford College, he moved to Washington, DC and has lived in the Baltimore-Washington area ever since. His career as an educator has included work with non-profit educational organizations, non-denominational, religious, Catholic independent schools, community college and more recently, public schools. He holds a Masters of Education in Teacher Leadership from The Johns Hopkins University and has recently been admitted to the Notre Dame of Maryland University's Certificate of Advanced Studies in Education program. His interest lie in bridging current philosophical movements in education to the day-to-day praxis of effective instructional strategies and to the moral development of students.
